THE LEGAL ASPECT OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF THE DISCIPLINE “DEFENSE OF UKRAINE”

Abstract

The article studies the legal aspect of professional training of future teachers of the subject “Defense of Ukraine”, which is necessary for effective legal education of the younger generation. The key aspects in this process are the formation of practical skills, legal culture, and socio-psychological and methodological readiness of teachers. Emphasis is placed on the use of modern technologies and interactive methods in pedagogical universities to develop legal thinking and patriotic values. It is determined that modern challenges in the field of national security of Ukraine require the active participation of teachers in the formation of students' legal awareness. It is emphasized that successful training of teachers requires not only knowledge in the field of law but also taking into account individual characteristics and the use of innovative pedagogical approaches.

A structural model of a teacher’s readiness to carry out legal educational activities is outlined. Modeling the process of training applicants for higher pedagogical education for legal education aims to identify key areas of this training, ensuring its systematicity and integrity in the conditions of modernization and development of higher pedagogical education. The application of a certain structural model in the process of preparing students for educational work involves the introduction of innovative didactic technologies and the updating of the content of pedagogical education.

Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that effective training of teachers of the discipline “Defense of Ukraine” requires a comprehensive approach, taking into account the individual characteristics of students and the use of modern teaching methods. The formation of future teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of constitutional law, legal education, and national security is an important factor in the development of civic consciousness and the establishment of patriotic values among young people.

The scientific research that was conducted emphasizes the importance of providing teachers with the necessary competencies to educate citizens of Ukraine who consciously comply with their duties and know their rights.
