FINANCIAL SECURITY AS A FACTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE IN TIMES OF WAR

Abstract

It is substantiated that financial security has a certain hierarchy and the interaction of each component of security ensures the stability and efficiency of the state’s financial system. Economic shocks caused by war present a significant challenge to the state’s financial security.

It is proved that ensuring financial stability requires active implementation of policies aimed at stabilizing the financial market, as well as careful monitoring of the current economic situation, in particular improving the banking system, increasing transparency and accoun­tability of financial institutions, and improving financial supervision and regulation.

It is argued that the beginning of war had a negative impact on all financial processes in Ukraine, including investment flows and financial stability. The impact of the war on the investment climate poses a significant threat to Ukraine’s financial security, emphasizing the need to take measures to restore investor confidence and promote economic stability in the face of ongoing hostilities.

Attracting international financial assistance and investment is also a crucial element in guaranteeing the state’s financial security.

It is substantiated that a full-scale war in Ukraine has led to serious economic disruptions, resulting in a significant drop in the country’s gross domestic product (GDP). The decline in GDP is not only a direct consequence of russia’s aggression, but also indicates long-term threats to Ukraine’s financial stability and financial security. Strategic measures are needed to mitigate the adverse effects of the war, maintain the stability of the financial sector, prevent further deterioration of the economic situation and promote the country’s economic recovery.
